In the final phase of last year, several important major investments were approved in line with HumanOptics Holding AG's growth strategy. These will be implemented in the course of 2024 and will significantly increase production capacity by fully committing to the Germany location.

The implementation of these measures has already begun, so that a significant increase in capacity of more than 30% can be realized from 2025, which will result in an improvement in delivery capability and delivery times.

The optimizations in the production process are already visible. Last week, two new ultra-precision lathes for premium IOL production were delivered from the USA to the Erlangen production site. At the Sankt Augustin site, HumanOptics was able to agree on an additional 1000 square meter building in the immediate vicinity of the existing buildings. In addition to further office space, some areas of the existing main hall will be relocated. This will create the necessary space for the expansion of the existing production area and the realization of the clean room extension.
